Damage to player when activating Flying ability after 'Declare Blockers' step

Basically attack with a Leaping Master and my adversary blocks it with an Alpine Grizzly and I after that trigger the Leaping Master's Flying ability (in other words. after the 'Declare Blockers' step), the Alpine Grizzly can, presumably, no further block the (today traveling) Leaping Master.

However, would Leaping Master deal harm to my adversary in this case or does guideline 509.1h avoid this?

509.1h an assaulting animal with several animals declared as blockers for this becomes a blocked animal; one with no creatures declared as blockers for this becomes an unblocked creature. This stays unchanged before the animal is removed from combat, an impact claims that it becomes blocked or unblocked, or the combat period finishes, whichever comes initially. A creature continues to be blocked whether or not most of the animals preventing it are taken from combat.

My sensation is that Leaping Master's harm is assigned toward player as Alpine Grizzly is not "removed from combat"?
