Battle Royale had been a boxed ready, the 3rd collection set, circulated in November 1999 as an accumulation cards emphasizing the multiplayer aspect of the game. Almost all of the cards included are ones that will affect several opponents. This marketing included cards from all different sets that existed earlier than it. The cards nevertheless retained their original expansion signs although they were imprinted with white edges, that has been the standard for reprinted secret: The Gathering cards of "core establishes" through to the 2007 release of . They are the sole sets which are printed with white edges (which began with Unlimited.) Another interesting aspect is the fact that coloured expansions symbols were included with the cards that didn’t ask them to previously (namely cards from Tempest, Portal: Second Age, Stronghold and Ice Age.)
The ready included 160 cards built into four various two-color motif porches which are 40 cards each: Spirit Gale (blue / white), Chargoyf (green / purple), The Deluge (green / white), and Cinder Heart (black colored / red).
